Are you a Foodpreneur looking for access to a commercial kitchen? If so, you probably want to watch this video.

What is a Foodpreneur?foodpreneur are foodpreneurs are entrepreneurs that meld being a foodie with a food business

A Foodpreneur is an entrepreneur that is in the food industry. However, there is a bit of a twist. The foodpreneur is a former foodie that has decided to go into the food business.  Merriam Webster Dictionary defines foodie as : a person having an avid interest in the latest food fads.

Where do Foodpreneurs fit in?

Spent some time today in the MLK Corridor. The Northwest Area Quality of Life Project,  Saw some really great things going down. There was one thing that bothered me. There was no food. Like no food. AT ALL. That bothered me. A LOT. So… I had an idea.

What Foodpreneurs need the most.

There’s one thing foodpreneurs need more than anything else… They need access to a commercial kitchen. What if we could provide a kitchen, if they would come hang out around lunchtime one day a week. We could get them access to said commercial kitchen. They could bring food to people that would buy it. People that needed food could get it, Sounds like a win/win/super-win situation to me. Like fresh food. Food is right there on Maslow’s Hiearchy of Needs.

Usually there is a significant investment in a commercial kitchen facility and professional food preparation equipment, it can make a lot of sense to rent/share your kitchen with other food startups in order to generate additional revenue and recoup your commercial kitchen investment. That’s what this is all about. Let’s get it!
